Lighting Demonstration and Consult

During our home visit consultation, we will discuss fixture options, placement, and showcase how LED landscape lighting can enhance your beautiful property and increase security and ambiance. You will be able to handle, feel the quality, and see the engineering of each unique light. With a variety of lighting fixtures to demonstrate, we will walk around and view how each planting or vignette will look with our fabulous lighting. Contact us to schedule an appointment!

Appointment Availability

There are two options for scheduling an appointment with Apex Landscape Lighting. We offer daytime and evening consults. Evenings are our preferred choice (please see below).

Evening Consults

We travel to your home after sunset for your evening consult and while using our power pack to illuminate our fixtures, you will be able to see the quality of light in action in your own garden, creating an outdoor lighting experience that you can see before purchasing.

SCHEDULE A Consultation/service

During a home visit consultation, we will discuss fixture options, placement, and showcase how LED landscape lighting can enhance your beautiful property and increase security and ambiance. An initial $90 fee is requested to schedule a consultation followed by a design proposal to fit your budget and needs. If you choose the system that we submit, the fee is deducted from your final transaction

Customized Design Plan

We create a detailed and unique design plan while on site during the demonstration and consultation appointment that will address your goals and desires, combined with our expertise and experience. All plans are finalized before installation. A computer schematic of your property and lighting system will be drawn up by our professionals which includes layout, fixture count and illumination intensity and saved for future use. So, if you ever would like to make changes in the future, we’re prepared.

Installation

After a finalized design plan has been completed and approved, we will install with meticulous detail your outdoor lighting system. All of our work is completed by hand. We are discreet, caring for your plants and greenery. We do not use machinery. Depending on the amount of fixtures and where each is placed, the installation usually takes 1-3 days. After sweeping up, most clients have mentioned that we leave their yards cleaner than when we found it.

Annual Maintenance Program

As an add-on to your purchase, we offer clients annual maintenance to their systems and fixtures. A detailed, multi-step assessment of each fixture and wiring is performed assuring that the wiring is still properly buried and that lawn caregivers have not disturbed the wire system. We clean all glass lenses with a special solution that removes any water build up and brings the fixture back to original illumination. A light trimming of foliage and repositioning of fixture for landscape growth and reburying of cable may be needed.

*For customers who have a previously installed system, we can provide our multi-step process. We will investigate and repair cut lines, replace bulbs and enhance design with additions. We do everything necessary to bring new life to older systems!

LIGHTING DESIGN TIPS

Did you know that not all white light is created equal? Many of our integrated LED fixtures and LED replacement lamps come in a variety of color temperatures – from warm white to pure white to cool white – that can enhance the colors in your home’s exterior and landscape. Known as Kelvin (K) temperature, consider these suggestions for placement:

WARM WHITE (2700K)

Surroundings with warmer
colors, like brown and cedar
Natural-colored walls or stonework
Foliage that is red, orange or
yellow (ex: highlighting oak trees)

PURE WHITE (3000K)

Surroundings with dark materials, like deep slate, black or grey.
